Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the Season Energy website and quote requests.
Effective date: July 12, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at seasonenergy.ca (the “Website”), operated by Season Energy (“Season Energy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
By accessing or using the Website, or by submitting a quote request, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Our services
Season Energy provides building energy efficiency products and services, including energy assessments, energy modelling and compliance, HVAC and water-heating equipment, insulation, and related building envelope work for residential and light commercial buildings in British Columbia. The Website provides information about these services and lets you request a quote.
3. Quote requests and estimates
When you submit a quote request through the Website, you are asking us to prepare an estimate. A quote request is not a binding contract, and submitting one does not obligate you to purchase anything or obligate us to provide services.
Any figures we provide before an on-site assessment are preliminary estimates. Final pricing, scope, and terms depend on an assessment of your property and will be set out in a separate written agreement. You agree that the information you provide in a quote request is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or another person’s information without authorization
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Website or its underlying systems
- Use automated means such as bots or scrapers to access or collect data from the Website without our permission
- Introduce malware or otherwise attempt to compromise the security of the Website
5. Intellectual property
The Website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — are owned by or licensed to Season Energy and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
6. Electronic communications
By providing your contact details, you agree that we may contact you to respond to your request, including by email, phone, or text. We will send marketing communications only where you have consented, and you can unsubscribe at any time. For more detail on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links and services
The Website may link to or rely on third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
8. Disclaimer
The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for general informational purposes only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the Website or its content, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Any estimates of energy savings, rebates, costs, or performance are general in nature and are not guaranteed; actual results depend on your specific building and circumstances.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Season Energy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including under British Columbia consumer protection legislation.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
